Opening an Account

Most financial matters may seem complicated but opening an Evolve Bank & Trust personal checking account is as easy as 1-2-3.
- First, check for the location nearest you. Click here for a listing of all our personal banking locations. You must live within a 500-mile radius of one of our locations, to open an account.
- Second, make sure you have all the right documents. At Evolve, that means a government-issued photo ID, proof of address, and Social Security card.

The community bankers at Evolve Bank & Trust take their role of handling customer funds very seriously. We know some banks allow customers to open accounts through a secure online portal. At Evolve, we believe the best defense against scammers is a good offense. That means coming into our financial centers and getting to know each of our bankers. By law, banks must verify the identity of every direct customer to prevent fraud, money laundering, and terrorism financing. In-person account openings allow us to verify identity more securely by physically inspecting government-issued IDs and matching them to the individual.

Deposits & Withdrawals
With an Evolve Bank & Trust personal checking account, you can make a deposit from just about anywhere at any time. By downloading the Evolve Digital Banking app and signing up for mobile deposits, you can make deposits from your mobile device. You can also go to one of our many financial centers to make an in-person deposit. Some Evolve ATMs will also allow deposits and if you don’t want to wait cash your employment check, sign up for direct deposit.
For most Evolve customers, we limit ATM withdrawals to $650 per day. This can be changed upon request inside an Evolve financial center. Limiting ATM withdrawals reduces the potential of fraud or loss if your card is lost, stolen or compromised.
You will only be charged an ATM fee if you use a non-Evolve ATM. Evolve Bank & Trust is a proud member of the National MoneyPass Network. This gives you access to thousands of ATMs across the nation. To make sure you’re using a MoneyPass Network ATM, look for the logo that matches on the back of your debit card.

You can make your Evolve loan payment by in person at a financial center, through the U.S. Postal Service, or through ACH payments. You can set up ACH payments to reoccur according to the terms of the loan.

The best time to enroll in Evolve’s online banking services is when you open an account. The banking expert at the financial center you choose, can help you set up your online banking account. If you decide to do it later, you can call the financial center where you opened your account, and a banking expert will go through the process with you.
